Is there a way to prevent "Macrium Reflect UI Watcher" from starting automatically?

You can disable it from services.msc but it uses so little resources, not really worth the effort.

I just found that it can be disabled simply via Task Manager –-> Startup.
It can also be disabled via a command:

(REG Delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" /v "Reflect UI" /F)

The command will delete "Reflect UI" from Registry.

Can Rescue Media be installed on a second hard drive instead of on a USB stick, and be bootable from that second drive?
Then ideally I could run it by rebooting, hitting F12 and selecting that second hard drive to boot from.
If yes, then how do I install it on that second hard drive?
My PC has Win 10 Pro 64-bit on a Dell Optiplex 7010 with 16GB of RAM. It normally boots UEFI and the existing (single booting) drive is GPT.

Not sure if you can do that but you can create a Windows Boot Menu entry which boots from an area on the C; drive. Not ideal if you have a failing drive but works well otherwise.

You can boot a wim file off a hard disk, which seems to be what you are asking.

If yes, then how do I install it on that second hard drive?

copy the wim to other disk and make a boot menu entry pointing at it and the sdi file.

Create small fat32 partion on secondary drive say 2GB.

Copy files from reflect iso to that partition, create boot entry using easybcd.

Hi,

Since the system is UEFI you do not need to create a boot entry using EasyBCD or whatever.

Yeah but booting from it means going via bios to select drive. However if primary drive gets badly corrupted or fails, then sure.
