    It didn't at my end, i downloaded the free edition from there webpage.

    You have selected differential, not incremental. Differential has always been available in the free edition.

    Shouldn't i be able to browse what i have made backup of ?

    If i do it like that the folder is empty that popup?

    If i do it like that the folder is empty that popup?
    Select your C-Drive ....then try it.

    Should be able to view any drive u back up
    It should mount it .....so you can view the drive.

    You may also want to tick 'Enable access to restricted folders' so that you can bypass permission restrictions.

    sbh7600, you're going about this the right way, doing this now when you don't need to restore a file/folder or full image. Learn how to use it now when it isn't needed and you'll be comfortable with it when it is needed and recovery will only take 20 to 30 minutes.

    Now, when done, go to This PC. The "mounted" backup appears with the Macrium Logo on it. Right click, and Unmount Macrium Image.
