Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect

My schedule creates a full at first of each month, a differential every Monday, and an incremental every day. These daily backups are scheduled to start at 00:15 every night (12:15 AM).

Automatic backups are really slow. The screenshot is taken tonight at 02:07, an hour and 52 minutes after the scheduled backup started:

Note that tonight's backup is incremental, which really should be quite fast and small.

I have noticed that the pre-backup phase, "Looking for changes", is the reason it takes so much time. It can last up to two hours for Macrium to check the changes, before the backup is finally started. When backup starts, it's then quite fast.

Anyone else seeing this, slow scheduled backups?

I do a full backup every Saturday and differentials every other day, all Scheduled. The source is an SSD and the target a USB3 attached spinner. The backups are timed so that I am usually preparing my evening meal so little activity. Full backup & verify takes 15-20 mins for a 35GB image. Differential is usually just 2-3 mins, 1-3GB differential. No difference between scheduled and manual. I don't have CBT configured.

I did a restore on 1909 last week. No issues.

Question for you folks on MR ....
Just recently , last 2 or 3 weeks, when I boot to my rescue disk lately, the resolution is now at 2560 x 1440 and under change display resolution I have no other choices.
The resolution I run at has always been 1920 x 1080

The 2560 x 1440 is just too darn small for me to read, I have not found anyway to change the resolution back to 1920 x 1080
Any help will be appreciated

Not sure it will help but right click on shortcut / properties / compatibility there is a change high dpi button

That is only for current changes on the windows system ....not for the rescue disk....

try again there is an option under build .
about efi legacy screen resolution support which should be unchecked
