thanks for reply.Cause i have a 32GB usb drive, after i created the boot drive from macrium software, can i include a custom folder on the root of the drive(i need put some personal backup files) without break anything.?thanks
Yes, you can, as fdegrove said. Best advice I can give you is look to see what Best Buy, Office Depot, etc. have on sale for 4GB (if you can find them), or 8GB thumb drives, and pick up a couple. I understand the 32GB space not being wasted, but it's best and safest to have a small dedicated thumb drive all by itself for the Rescue. That guards against any accidental deletion or damage from other use. Just my advice.

An extra folder is fine. Mine has one with portable apps.

Good advice - in fact, it makes sense to create two. You can never find the usb when you need it, or it decides to fail.

Also create a boot menu entry, difficult to lose that.

Ironically, if you use the "fix Windows boot problems" link, it loses the boot entry for Macrium - lol

Run this from administration command prompt

    diskpart

    list disk

select disk # (# is number of usb drive)

clean (Warning - this wipes whole drive - backup data first)

    convert MBR

    create partition primary

    select partition 1

    format fs=fat32 quick

    assign

    active

    exit
