You can backup to your NAS sure. Whether you can backup your NAS elsewhere (and what Macrium features you can use) depends on the filesystem used on your NAS
RDR and RDC supports NTFS file system only.

Incremental and Differential images have no file system dependencies. You can even create Diff/Inc images of unformatted partitions.

Imaging clusters in use and changed clusters (intelligent copy) is limited to FAT16, FAT32, NTFS and Ext 2,3,4.
Rapid Data Restore (RDR) - supported file systems

For example Macrium will backup my MacOS partition but as it doesn't understand HFS it does sector backup which makes an image of the whole partition (data and freespace) resulting in a large image that you can't mount to restore individual files back.

If so with 20% discount I may just have to rush out to buy it.
I doubt it will do an image backup but it should be able to do File & Folder backups

It has both image and file & folder backups but if you are asking can it image a NAS then I don't believe so as you don't have access to the partition structure of the NAS. You can however do file & folder backups of the shares.

Not used it yet, still exploring its potential, but it seems to.

The best feature of Home is Rapid Delta Restore.

If you make an image backup, and say made some changes that were giving issues, and you decide to restore from a backup, MRH compares the backup with the current installation, and only restores the differences (but be careful - it also deletes any new data added). This is very quick usually - less than five minutes.

What I do if I am about to do some changes that I think might be a bit risky eg telemetry registry issues, deleting apps etc, I do a differential backup just before doing changes to make sure I do not lose any recent data. The when you do Rapid Delta Restore it is incredibly fast.

That and now Image Guardian are the two features that make paying for Home worthwhile. The other features Incremental backups, file and folder backups and changed block tracker I can do without.

I believe that they have a commercial program for that but if so it is probably costly..Maybe one below??

I have just done a backup of my NAS with Macrium Reflect Home, just use the "Create a File and Folder Backup", navigate to the network drive, select the folders and its job done, very pleased.
