Hello DTG, :)
Were you wanting to add this custom plan to the context menu from the tutorial?
Hello DTG, :)
Were you wanting to add this custom plan to the context menu from the tutorial?
Hi Brink ya I would please. I dont know how to find the profile reference in powrprof.dll like the other profiles. How are custom profiles saved, if not in the dll?
ummm i did post it,
I posted the whole Power Schemes reg entry.5) If you like, you could also just export the PowerSchemes key, and upload it in your post instead.
its the 8ee203e3-4c39-48e2-bfc6-0249f0c8a6f0 entry.
Ok. I just needed to verify that was the one. What is the name of this plan since it's in binary in the reg code?
plan b in lower case. As you see in the reg entry on that there is no dll referenced, it that normal?
Sorry about verifying. I just had to make sure. Here's a .reg file below that will add the context menu with "Plan B" in it as well. :)
Add_DTG-custom_Choose_Power_Plan_to_Desktop_Context_Menu.reg
Thank you very much.
Ok, I see what you did there. Seems simple enough to add more profiles if needed.
Something recently came to my attention, I dont know if this is an issue or not. When I use the right context menu to switch power plans, then open power options, the selected plan does not change. Like If I run on High Performance for gaming then change to another plan using the right click context, then open Power Options, it still says High Performance as selected. How can I tell which plan is actually active?
When I added this new plan the menu added an extra line separator in there.
