    I'm really late in finding this excellent TUT. But appreciate, just the same.

    Question, although I have no reason to suspect anything is amiss on my PC. As I have never triggered an MSRT scan, just out of curiosity nothing more, would it hurt anything to run a full scan, other than just lost time?

    I have an old 1TB 7200 spinner. With only 20.5 GB in use, the rest is free.


    Again, just a curiosity. Thank you.

    Hello mate,

    It will not hurt anything to run a scan other than the time it takes to finish.

    Always best to scan to be safe.
