Apparently it's supposed to notify me if it finds anything wrong - so far it hasn't. I think I'll leave it there for now - thanks for your help :)

Eddie I wouldn't loose any sleep over it. I have never ever performed a manual scan and I wouldn't even know it was on my PC if I didn't see the updates.
