    ok i have updated this one using this method from your guide. In the file because i don't know the description i have named them "update1.. etc"

    Those are the GUID numbers for the folders on the Start list, and are not needed to be added for This PC. Those GUIDs are also not in the FolderDescriptions key by default.

    The tutorial currently still works just fine though.

    I tested the tutorial on a clean install of the latest build, and it worked on it for me.

    Did you restart the computer afterwards to see if that fully applied it?

    No i did not restart the PC, normally only explorer need to be restarted and it worked. Perhaps the problem was that i was using the "old" method with deleting them from previously download files with the same name.

    Could be. If you had made other changes to these, it could prevent the tutorial from working as it.

    Hello Jake, and welcome to Ten Forums.

    I assume that you are trying to remove all folders from This PC?

    If so, did you previously try anything else to remove them that may be preventing the tutorial to work like in navuho's situation?
