I know there isn't normally a delete option but for some odd reason there was one there. This was moments after I factory restarted my computer. I deleted them by highlighting all of them and pressing delete, and now they are permanently gone. I tried to ctrl+z is but nothing worked. They weren't in the recycle bin too.

In that case, you might see if using Option Two below may be able to restore them for you.

Are the folders in your %UserProfile% ("C:\Users\<username>") folder?

In that case, I'm not sure how you were able to remove them from "This PC" like that.

You could try doing a repair install to restore them.

Is it possible to use this method to add custom folders to This PC and the navigation pane? The only way I've been able to do this so far is with Winaero Tweaker, but the number of registry keys it adds is a little intimidating, and I was wondering if there was a simpler way.

    Hello John,

I'm afraid that there isn't an easy way to add a folder to This PC other than using something like that program.

If you like, you are able to easily "Pin to Quick Access" any folder (location) you like for easy access from.
