    Ah, you mean,
    This tutorial is for how to add or remove the "*default*" "Folders" in This PC instead.

    and the tutorial title should be, General Tips Add or Remove Default Folders from This PC in Windows 10.

    thus my confusion. I'll assume then there is no way to add your own folders.

    The info box at the top of the tutorial makes it clear. Unfortunately, the title can only have so many characters, so something had to go.

    You can add custom folders to This PC using a 3rd party program called Winaero Tweaker.

    The updated files for removing all folders don't appear to be working. All of the registry keys in both the 64- and 32-bit files are missing the leading -, so the entries aren't being removed. When I added the - myself the file worked properly.

    Thanks a ton for this!

    Hi, @mancerrss ... Not sure what is not working for you, but Shawn (the author) posted he fixed something, in the post 2 above yours. Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 - Page 35 - General Tips Tutorials

    Maybe get a fresh copy and try it again? Just a thought...

    Hello @mancerrss, :)

    Please be more specific on what you see instead. It's important that the steps are done exactly as written, and that you use the correct 32-bit or 64-bit download for your system.

    I can confirm that the tutorials you mentioned do still work in FCU.

    Hello @Brink,

    I have additional information for this Tutorial.
    At the moment the tutorial is not complete because there is a problem

    If you Pin default folders in Quick access:
    "Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, Videos"

    and navigate through folders in a specific way

    then the default folders will be displayed again in the This PC (will be displayed until the Explorer is closed)

    - Pin any default folders in Quick access
    - Select the pinned folder in Quick access
    - Select Local Disk C
    then
    - use Mouse arrows or arrows in Explorer or keys on keyboard (Alt + Arrow Left\Right)
    - completely click the arrow to the Left
    - completely click the arrow to the Right

    and you will see that the folder is displayed in the This PC.

    The solution to this problem.
    Go to Regedit and change next values
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    ;Desktop

    ;Documents
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\WOW6432Node\CLSID\{d3162b92-9365-467a-956b-92703aca08af}\ShellFolder]
    "Attributes"=dword:f080004d

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{d3162b92-9365-467a-956b-92703aca08af}\ShellFolder]
    "Attributes"=dword:f080004d

    ;Downloads
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\WOW6432Node\CLSID\{088e3905-0323-4b02-9826-5d99428e115f}\ShellFolder]
    "Attributes"=dword:f080004d

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{088e3905-0323-4b02-9826-5d99428e115f}\ShellFolder]
    "Attributes"=dword:f080004d

    ;Music
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\WOW6432Node\CLSID\{3dfdf296-dbec-4fb4-81d1-6a3438bcf4de}\ShellFolder]
    "Attributes"=dword:f080004d

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{3dfdf296-dbec-4fb4-81d1-6a3438bcf4de}\ShellFolder]
    "Attributes"=dword:f080004d

    ;Pictures
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\WOW6432Node\CLSID\{24ad3ad4-a569-4530-98e1-ab02f9417aa8}\ShellFolder]
    "Attributes"=dword:f080004d

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{24ad3ad4-a569-4530-98e1-ab02f9417aa8}\ShellFolder]
    "Attributes"=dword:f080004d

    ;Videos
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\WOW6432Node\CLSID\{f86fa3ab-70d2-4fc7-9c99-fcbf05467f3a}\ShellFolder]
    "Attributes"=dword:f080004d

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{f86fa3ab-70d2-4fc7-9c99-fcbf05467f3a}\ShellFolder]
    "Attributes"=dword:f080004d
    need change f080004d to f090004d

    NOTE this is method incomplete
    NOTE editing these registry values requires administrator rights

    NEED FIND Second value for Desktop, because change Desktop value from "64-bit_Remove_All_user_Folders_in_This_PC-RECOMMENDED.reg" prevents this folder from being Pinned to the Quick access.
    By analogy, like the rest of the default folders, the desktop folder should have a second reg value.

    I hope for your help in finding the second value for the Desktop folder.

    Best regards.
