Hey Brink, i just tried something and it seems to be working!, there is that app called **REMOVED**, it have some settings/tweaks for File Explorer > Navigation Pane - Custom Items, which shows those 6 folders, i selected each folder individually, and clicked "remove selected", and now they're gone!, but just from the file explorer and not user's folder. Something kinda weird happened though, i had a BSOD "Critical Error" when i tried to restart my PC right after, but the thing is, i got a new RAM a couple of days ago, and i am still not sure if that tweak was the reason why, or the there is a problem with my PC, since i also had the same critical error yesterday on a different clean windows installation .

The method used by that program will break the same folders added to your Start List. If that's not an issue for you, then it'll be fine. I just don't like using methods that break things, so I didn't include it in this tutorial.

The tweak shouldn't have caused a BSOD. Be sure to follow the BSOD posting instructions to provide the needed info in you post there that may hopefully reveal a cause.

Sorry mate, i didn't mean to add something that would break someone's system, i just thought that it could help you create something similar, or better. I didn't notice any issues with the folders on start list, since i am using StartIsBack++, and it didn't affect those folders in the start menu.

No worries mate. I just wanted to make you and others are aware of the issue with the method it uses. If that issue isn't a concern, then it's fine to use.

Hi, I am on Win 10 Pro x64 and applied the 64bit reg file to remove all user folders, however it is still appearing. any idea why?

I also need to remove the "Creative Cloud" folder - able to provide the registry details?

Separately, would also like to confirm if there is any workaround to add Files to quick access pane?

    Hello tententwenty, :)

Just to confirm, did you restart the explorer process or restart the computer after merging the .reg file to apply?

I'm not aware of a way to have files show in the navigation pane. It's for showing locations instead.

yes i have restarted several times. only this removal of user folders didn't work. I tried removing "oneDrive" and it worked.

Odd. I tested again on the latest build, and it's still working for me.

As a test, try downloading the .reg again from the link below, and merge it.

Just to verify, are you signed in to an administrator account when merging the .reg file, and were you able to successfully approve merging the .reg file in all the prompts?

In that case, edit the .reg file and verify if your registry was changed to match it.
