Hello Jake, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

I assume that you are trying to remove all folders from This PC?

If so, did you previously try anything else to remove them that may be preventing the tutorial to work like in navuho's situation?
    Hi there -

Turns out it worked after both restarting my computer AND restarting Explorer after the computer restarted

Odd, it should have at least worked after restarting the computer without having to do anything else, but I'm glad you got it sorted. :)

Can someone confirm that the .reg files work for the latest build, 10586.17?

Hi Brink, Thank you so much for your work, I've been following your posts since Vista forums (time flies..), Always used many of your awesome guides to customize windows, I just had an account a few days ago though :), Anyway, I never had a problem running your reg keys, But when i tried that one, it have removed some folders that are in "User's folder", I can see all of them in the full directory "C:\Users\User's Name", Kindly check this topic if you got the time: Solved Use account missing some folders - Windows 10 Forums

Thanks again mate, But i was wondering if i could still be able to hide those 6 folders in "This PC" without losing them from the "User's folder", Because when i applied it it remove the folders from both destinations ("This PC" and user's folder too).

I'm afraid that they are also tied to the separate user folder group in the navigation pane as well. If you like, turn off "Show all folders" in the navigation pane to no longer see the separate user folder group.

However, they will still show in the actual "C:\Users\(user-name)" folder and in Quick access.

Is it possible to change the user's folder directory (in the quick access shortcut) to the full directory so I'd get to see all the folders?
