These are the ones I use the most...

To type the degree symbol °, make sure that your keyboard Num Lock is enabled. Press and hold down the Alt Key, then type the numbers 0176using the number pad on the right hand side of your keyboard. Then release the Alt Key and the degree sign ° will appear (NOTE: these features also work in Microsoft Office).

To type µ (the Greek letter mu), hold down the ALT Key while you press the numbers 0181 and then release the Alt key.

To type ±, hold down the ALT Key while you type the numbers 0177 and then release the Alt key.

To type ÷, hold down the ALT Key while you type the numbers 0247 and then release the Alt key.

To type ×, hold down the ALT Key while you type the numbers 0215 and then release the Alt key.

To type ∞, hold down the ALT Key while you type the numbers 236 and then release the Alt key.

To type ≥, hold down the ALT Key while you type the numbers 242 and then release the Alt key.

To type ≤, hold down the ALT Key while you type the numbers 243 and then release the Alt key.

There isn't one, but, Shift+F10 is the keyboard shortcut for right click.

What is the code for Shift F10? Why reproduction of this code with Alt + numerical keypad does not produce the same effect as Right click?

What about PrintScreen button? What is the code for PrintScreen and can it be reproduced with Alt + numerical keypad?

I think you're confusing Keyboard Shortcuts and Alternative Typing Characters.

Keyboard Shortcuts substitute UI tasks in place of mouse buttons or gestures, plus much more.

Alt Codes allow you to type 'Alternative Characters' into forms.

I understand what you are saying, but on the other hand, whether it is a character or a mouse click, both are related to certain numerical code. So, I think that typing of that numerical code should have desired result (a character or a click). Where am I wrong?

Welcome to Tenforums!

It's not a "Alt" key code. It's shift+F10.

The right-click keyboard shortcut is to hold down SHIFT and then press F10. That's one of my favorite keyboard shortcuts because it comes in VERY handy and sometimes it's actually easier to use the keyboard than the mouse.

How to Right Click using the Keyboard

how do I find a specific character I want without having to go thru the entire list of characters one at a time. Say I want a Spanish upside down exclamation point? How do I search for just that?

The downloadable PDF in post #1 can be searched with any good PDF reader. Most, if not all, use CTRL-F to start a search. Just type in part of what you are looking for.
