    Hi,

I need to disable the Action Center on Surface Tablets.
It works only on Desktop computers with a normal monitor, but not on Surface Tablets for example.
The icon disappears also on the tablets, but i still can swipe from the right edge and it appears.

Any one how to disable this also? preferably by GPO.

    Thanks

Try reading this tutorial and see if it helps you disable Action Center.

    Hello arjanv,

On a touchscreen, users will still be able to open the Action Center by swiping inwards from the right screen border.

I'm not aware of a way to disable that yet.

    That's my problem indeed.

Possible to remove certain icons (wifi, bluetooth) from the action center?

You could change the quick actions that show when they are collapsed, but I'm not aware of a way to completely remove actions.

    Hello DJ,

It still works for me in build 14393.5. Did you restart explorer or sign out/in to apply?

    That did the trick!
By the way is there away to send it to the same place as before from Windows 1511?

    Great news.

I'm not aware of a way to move the Action Center icon location on the taskbar so far.
