The Windows 10 DPI Fix program fixes the scaling issue perfectly for me, but always concerned about these types of programs. I'll try one of the options in this tutorial to see if it can do as good a job without the DPI program.

Option 3 worked pretty well, so I ended up using the pre-login script (doing something similar to option 3) that was posted elsewhere on the site.

It's good to know where those registry options are so the tutorial really helped.

    cheers.

Thanks! I found option 2 on another site but it used this as source. Is option 2 only recently possible because it works perfectly for me so I don't get why I've only seen the registry option before. I know/can edit the registry but even then I avoid it if I can.
Now I don't have to be slightly annoyed everyday when using Win10.

    Hello ptutrup,

I'm glad it could help. Option 2 has been available in previous Windows, but the way to get to those settings changed in Windows 10.

So, I've been on Windows 10 for all of two days now. I've tried out a few of the programs that were driving me nuts in Windows 7/8 when it comes to HiDPI scaling on apps not "designed" with HiDPI in mind. Turns out Windows 10 is no different. Is...
