That's ok. I can live with the duplication in File Explorer but to have links in ThisPC is handy as well. Thank you for your help.
    You're most welcome.

Just a followup to the post in the OneDrive thread....same issue is my guess?

    Hi Shawn,

the .reg works a charm and Dropbox is gone almost instantly , unfortunately I just noticed it comes back after a reboot.

as a side note....exact same thing with remove OneDrive .reg too, the Google Drive one you wrote for me in that Thread
has removed them and they stay gone.

    Thanks again for your help.

I've noticed that OneDrive will often restore its default each time it's opened.

Dropbox may be doing the same and at restart.

Okay thanks, I thought maybe the .reg needed an update or something...

Looks like my quest to cleanup file Explorer this weekend is a bust :)

It seems the issue with both Dropbox and OneDrive reappearing can be solved by applying a Deny Permissions to the

    System.IsPinnedToNamespaceTree Key

so Dropbox ( Or OneDrive ) can not flip the switch back to 1 from Zero. OneDrive requires 1 additional Key to be denied as well.

See attached PDF for full instructions gathered elsewhere and updated.
