Maybe add this gpedit to the tutorial I haven't tried it yet to see if wd message doesn't appear but maybe it will ?

Dang can't believe these freaking popup is still happening
I completely removed Defender and disabled SmartScreen plus Security Center but you could try:

    reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Notifications\Settings\Windows.SystemToast.SecurityA ndMaintenance" /v "Enabled" /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

In addition I disabled the service:

    Hi, @Callender
Dang you got a reg file in your back pocket I have no idea how to add that dword :/
Right now it looks like what you show but it has dword 0 so nothing more than a reg listing
I modify and add d 0 /f and it totally changes from what you show :/

You'd add it in PowerShell but anyway here is a reg file instead but you should backup (export) your key before merging.

    Hi,
Thanks why did you add the firewall deal too ?
It's just 10 no big deal just a system image away nothing important.

Well I just added it because most people would not work out that it's still running. It can be left enabled though.

    Hi,
    Okay
Usually get the popup at 3:40 seconds after restart we shall see nope still right on time
Thanks for the suggestion man this popup although the only one so far is really annoying it's so inaccurate

Many other WD popup messages are finally gone like enable sample uploads/..... since installing mbam pro again

FYI: Well since I unistalled Defender I think I remember disabling Security Center soon afterwards:

Maybe that would stop the notifications?

    Hi, @Brink
So far so good didn't download the app it showed to use just modified the dword from 3 to 4 on Start file and restarted 6 minutes now no popup and firewall service still on

    Code:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SecurityHealthService

    Hi,
Hide all would of been the only one worth using seeing defender and mbam off you'd think that wouldn't fall in the non critical notifications
I'll try it on my other machine later and see if it does anything but I doubt it nothing seems to stamp out defender popups except turning off the blasted thing and even then it comes back from the dead
    41 minutes nothing
Worst case wd is no different than win-7 and I call that a winner

On another note the only time I've opened defender is because of an annoying popup I'm trying to stop !!! otherwise I'd never need it.
