I have another problem my Windows 10 freezes or restarts , there is no BSOD never seen one in couple years since it runs Windows 10. What can I use to investigate what it's causing it. Actually there is a check mark to save minidumps there but the neither the folder nor the file gets ever created.
As I said no BSOD, so no dump. I only have the event viewer to read about it as critical/Kernel-Power/41 " system restarted ebcause either an error or crashed or didn't respond or power unexpectedly was interrupted." I suspect power is not enough as it happened just as I was losing supply for the keyboard and mouse. How could I no for sure how to rule out other interferences?
    Thanks

Link to Microsoft Technet in Tutorial Seems To Have Changed

In the preamble of this tutorial it says:

For more information about crash dump files, please see: Understanding Crash Dump Files - Ask the Performance Team - Site Home - TechNet Blogs
That link isn't working. Doing a search on Technet, I found Understanding Crash Dump Files

Is the latter article the one that was intended? In any case, the first one doesn't seem to be working, fyi.
