Add Local Account or Microsoft Account in Windows 10

    Oh no. You're not reinstalling Windows. Instead, you're just adding another account.

    I would recommend to add a "local account" to see if the Start menu is working properly for that new account when you sign in to it.

    Hi,

    If i add an account, and Windows needs updates, do I have to download the updates on my admin account and then the child account?

    Hello,

    Windows updates are applied to the whole operating system instead of per account.
