Brink; when this Tutorial says it will 'Start fresh with a clean and up to date installation of Windows', will this also upgrade the version ?
Example, computer has 1803, Repair Upgrade and Upgrade Assistant both fail. Will Fresh Start tool in Option 2, removing apps but keeping files, upgrade it to 1903 or reinstall 1803 ? Thanks !

If successful, it should update you to the latest version and build of Windows 10.

Thanks, we will try. Old computer will not update from 1803 to 1903. We used 'Update now' option on this page - get from 1607 to 1803 and elected 'Keep nothing' but would like to keep files this time. Suspect an incompatible driver is the issue again and would like to try Fresh start tool option.

If you haven't already, you might try the Windows 10 Update Assistant to see if it may update you without losing anything.

We tired that after using repair ISO and it also failed 'Keep nothing' worked last year on MCT page using 'Update now' but we'd like not to redo the files again and now there are fewer programs. I'm sure it's a driver issue, of some sort and if working, we'll not update any afterward. Drivers will be replaced in this process, right ?
