I am swamped and ground down trying to get my Microsoft account unblocked so that Outlook mail works again, It is my prime email and I have now been without it for 3 days, despite spending hours at in, and two MS Tech Advisors in long Chats have failed to solve the problem. Is there any of the above which does not require an existing password to be entered at some stage? I am repeatedly faced with a Catch22 dilemma --- to change or do anything else to my current password have to signin with it first, which cannot be done. It is a nonesense. If I get as far as asking for a seurity Code (sent to my phone or another email address, either the Code does not arrive or if it does it is promptedly rejected minutes later as wrong. Plus I am blocked from trying again until next day, when I am blocked again. Is there a procedure in any of the above which deals with this Catch 22 nightmare?
Hello mate,
You could try resetting the password using option 3 or 4, but you may run into the same security code issue.
