Change Computer Name in Windows 10

    That is a bummer. (However, I've found having computers show up under Network pretty hit and miss without SMB1 though.)
    it seams then the only real option that is reliable AND secure is a nas or is to buy a windows server.

    but I also wonder about freenas or a linux server and that would work out if I thought it could be setup and reliable.

    I also tried getting a linksys router with a USB3 port but that did not work out. Its really flaky.

    I am interested in setting up a 10gigabit network with mellenox but that is whole other story. YouTube
    I also had this crazy idea

    Getting a NAS is what I did. I have it connected by Ethernet to a router.
