As a test, change your lock screen background picture to something else to see if it may toggle it to show properly.

If not, then test with Show lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen turned off.
Hi. I've managed to reproduce the behavior - if I have "Show lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen" set to ON, then on the lock screen itself there is only black background and no picture, only text and placeholder icons. If I turn this OFF, then I see all as it should be on lock screen. On the sign-in screen now there is no picture as this is set to OFF.

Switching it back to ON causes again every time black background on lock-screen. Is this how it is supposed to function or?
Is there a possibility to see picture on lock screen and on sign-in screen as well?
I've used Windows spotlight in this test.

    Hello BlueBluey, :)

Usually if you turn on Show lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen, you can have Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing checked in your visual effects settings to prevent the lock screen background from not displaying properly.

Shawn, I have recently noticed that my user lock screen showing up when the default lock should be showing. After two days of chasing my tail this is what I have found. If I want the default lock screen to show I have to break Spotlight. If I want Spotlight to work I have the user lock screen showing where the default lock screen should be. Are you seeing this happen?

    Hey tracit, :)

    I haven't noticed that in build 15063.14.

Is this happening at startup, when you lock the computer, or both?

Hi Shawn, this is happening for startup and when I sign out (I should be seeing the default lock screen, but I am seeing the user lock screen). If I understand correctly I should indeed see the user lock screen when I lock my computer and that is what I am seeing. In my current configuration I never see the default lock screen. I am still on 14393.969 and I use a password/PIN type sign in. At least you confirmed for me how it is supposed to work.

By default, it'll show the lock screen of the last user.

If I want my chosen Lock Screen to work properly, I have to put it in Pictures. I tried putting it in Screen but then no info from Weather shows on it. I may stop using it as it really isn't that useful to see the weather for 3 seconds.

It does just that and I can click on the other user and see the user lock screen for that user. I still do not understand why startup is showing my user lock screen and not the default lock screen. I know a lot people do not care which lock screen is shown and many do not know the difference and even more wish there was no lock screen at all. It's just a little OCD on my part. For now I will just have to live with what I got.
