    Hi Shawn

Thanking you, once more, for a great tutorial, I found a little thing you might want to add in OPTION TWO:

Starting from Build 16299 (v.1709) the default value of this setting is ON, as you correctly state in the tutorial.
If the user never touches (i.e. changes the setting to "OFF"), the Registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\UserARSO, does not exist, as you can see in the following (BEFORE changing anything) image:

Use sign-in info to auto finish after Update or Restart in Windows 10-arso_before.png

Once the value is changed to "OFF", the Registry key for the user SID is created, and remains there afterwards, regardless of the state of the Setting.

Use sign-in info to auto finish after Update or Restart in Windows 10-arso_after.png

So maybe, you wanna add this information to OPTION TWO, in case some users want to use this option and they start looking for a Registry key that doesn't exist, like I did....

Hope you find that worth adding.
    Take care mate. Dimitri

Thank you @ddelo Dimitri. I added a warning in Option Two to help make this known.

Microsoft has finally separated the two options in build 18963:
    New Windows 10 Insider Preview Fast+Skip Build 18963 (20H1) - Aug. 16

One question, in the tutorial the settings in "Option Four" point 2 and 4 are both the "default" setting? shouldn't there just be one default value? Im not 100 % sure but isnt it default setting when its "Not Configured" and enabled by default?

Thank you Eric. Option 4 now corrected. Only "Not Configured" is the default setting for it.

Thanks for this guide, so many resources are on this site and nowhere else to be found.

I had this enabled, and it was breaking MSI afterburner hotkey binding, turned it off and all is well.

My question is what is the default value?

Ok, so I have a problem that when I go to "Use sign-in info to auto finish setting up device after update or restart."Use sign-in info to auto finish after Update or Restart in Windows 10-use-my-sign-infor-greyed-out.jpg
The option is greyed out and the key for UserARSO is not added.

I just read ddelo post that this option needs to be toggled to On and Off again for the UserARSO reg key to be added. Unfortunately since the option is greyed out, this isn't working.

Is there anything I am doing wrong? I manually went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System and set DisableAutomaticRestartSignOn in 1.

This only changed the greyed out from On to Off but it seems to have no effect.

For example when I go to Task Scheduler. Use sign-in info to auto finish after Update or Restart in Windows 10-plug-play-still-shows-last-run-time.jpg

Am I correct in thinking that if I were to successfully turn off "Use sign-in info to auto finish setting up device after update or restart." then the task schedule for Plug and Play should not show the last Run Time?

Because clearly in Windows 7 and 8.1 Plug and Play never reflects Last Run Time on boot.
