Hello and let me say, this is an excellent feature and thank you very much for providing it. I've gone through the thread and, perhaps I missed it, but I don't see any examples of multiple Drive instances being added to the navigation pane.

I'm not sure when Google started allowing two accounts to be synchronized; I've been using ODrive for about a year now to sync work and personal DropBox and Drive accounts through a single tool. Anyway, now I'm just using Backup and Sync with two logins: one for personal use (C:\Users\Bowman\Drive-Personal) and one for work use (C:\Users\Bowman\Drive-Work).

Am I missing how to add a second Google Drive folder to the navigation pane? I'm not a coder of any kind. I stuck with the .bat file and created Drive-Work easily. However, when attempting to add Drive-Personal, it says 'C:\Users\Bowman\Drive-Personal' is not a Google Sync Drive. It in running and file are syncing correctly.

Any help is appreciated and thank you very much!

    Hello Michael,
I just saw your post and added a second account to my Backup and Sync. To me, this appears to let you create additional folders and define all the files you wish to sync for the second account, but it does not create a second instance of the Google Drive folder.

So, it doesn't consider your new synced folder as another Google Drive.

Is there by chance a reg file in the works to add iCloud Drive to the Windows file explorer navigation pane just like OneDrive? I tried getting it to work using @Brink Google Drive reg file but I seem to be a nill at doing it.

Thank you, works like a charm! I am also very interested in the same solution for icloud. Is that something you are working on at the moment?

    Dear Brink, KBird et al
Back on p5 you kindly guided me down the paths of righteousness and 15 pages on I have to say that if Google ever develop the install that everybody so clearly wants, it's going to ruin your hobby! I remain in awe of the brainpower on the forum.

    To business
Back&Sync installed recently.. showing in QA
The "old" Google Drive icon still exists in my Nav Pane. It doesn't sync with anything

If i run your BAT files, will BU&S replace the old Google drive?
OR Would it be better to try and uninstall the Old google Drive first?
I can't find any uninstall option for it. - Not exist in settings

    Hello @ECPC,

Option One should be able to replace it for you. If not, then uninstall Google Drive from Programs and Features, and try again.

I'm a bit nervous about opt 1 because, - if it turns to custard, - I can't see a google drive icon to uninstall in programmes & feature (on my machine Apps & features).

I wondered if this was because of the registry amendments I did a few months ago (page 5) and whether I ought to try and reverse the process by changing the registry entries back to how they used to be.?

OR.... do you know of a way to uninstall the original, - now non syncing, - Google drive (which is on E: )

To be safe, create a restore point before doing anything. This way you could do a system restore with the restore point to undo it if needed.

I can't see a google drive icon to uninstall in programmes & feature (on my machine Apps & features...........)

Have a look in Control panel>Add-Remove Programs instead of Apps and Features.....many programs as not seen as APPs in my experience...it is also where you will find Backup and Sync From Google.

Hi K Bird. Thanks for the suggestion. When I got back to the thread it was too late.. I bit the bullet and used the bat to uninstall and it worked (Brink .. i did make a restore point but glad to say all OK)

I've also used the "add" bat to move G Drive to Nav pane all good but same problem as before The icon doesn't change. Have I used an old Bat ? - 'cos so many others on here get it all singing on the 1st pop

I know there's a fix, I must scan pp 6 or thereabouts, but if anybody remembers please post
    Best wishes
