Thank you Rob. I'll give it some playing with.
Hi Brink, any chance this .Bat file has made it impossible to remove the User Folder from the Explorer Pane? , Or has a recent Windows Update done that? as it seems I noticed The User Folder back again after trying the .bat ( it worked fine, found mine on E:\Google Drive ) but even your Remove User From Explorer.reg File no longer seems to work ...or perhaps I need an updated version of the one I have always used?

Hello KB, :)
The user folder below?
Add or Remove User Folder from Navigation Pane in Windows 10 Windows 10 Tutorials
Yes that one and 6105 (Folders in My PC view too) , I have used both for a year or two no issues , both are also in my
"Merged 10Forums Reg.Files".reg file I usually run after each Cumulative Update with your "Fixes" that I usually use.
I now have a feeling it has something to do with "Show All Folders" which I thought in the past I was able to have on? and see Control Panel and the Recycle Bin without seeing my User Folder and other stuff eg desktop folders . With Libraries and Quick Access my User Folder is wasted spaced I think and just extra scrolling that is needed. So I now think I am just probably wrong , they do work , just not if Show All Folders is On , I need to play around with the Settings some more I think.
Thanks for your Help as Usual....

If you have "Show all folders" turned on, then yeah it'll show the User folder under the "Desktop" group in the navigation pane.
Hi - I am new here and came across this thread. My Google Drive is located on a different drive than my C Drive, X:\Google Drive. I have been able to add Google Drive to Explorer but it points to C:\User\Google Drive. I ran the batch file and it does not locate my sync folder. How do I point to my X Drive?
Thank you.
Hello @GNT, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)
Here's a 32-bit version .reg file set for a "X:\Google Drive" location. If you need a 64-bit version instead, just let me know.
