    Hi,

I performed this tweak today - all works well, EXCEPT it breaks drag-and-drop functionality (between the left/right panes in Windows Explorer). This is something I use every day, so I had to revert.

To confirm, I set the two registry vales back to their defaults and drag-and-drop works again.

Any idea if there's any way to remove Quick Access AND retain DND?

    (I'm running Win 10 Pro 64-bit 1703)

    Cheers,

    Mike.

    I have a quick question

Dose this completely remove the "Quick Access" from your pc or is it to only remove it from the "Left Side of file explorer". I have pinned the "Quick Access" to my start menu and don't want it on "File Explorer" anymore since I have the same main folders in "This PC". So I want to still be able to use it but not have it showing in "file Explorer".

Dose this make any sense and if so please let me know thank you. Plus I already have "File Explorer" set to open at "This PC" and not "Quick Access" I just changed that a few minute ago.

Just removes it (un-pins) from the left pane. If you've already changed the view of the taskbar button to open in "This PC", you should be good to go. Quick Access will still be in the left pane of This PC, and on your Start Menu. It does not disappear entirely.

Option (1) step (3) worked great and I still can use it when I want it since it is Now to just finish tinkering with the rest of the PC. This did the trick for me though.
