Windows 10: Remove Quick access from Navigation Pane in Windows 10

Great news.

Hi,
I performed this tweak today - all works well, EXCEPT it breaks drag-and-drop functionality (between the left/right panes in Windows Explorer). This is something I use every day, so I had to revert.
To confirm, I set the two registry vales back to their defaults and drag-and-drop works again.
Any idea if there's any way to remove Quick Access AND retain DND?
(I'm running Win 10 Pro 64-bit 1703)
Cheers,
Mike.
