Me too :-/
Applying reg file, restarting my PC, but driver update still proposed (a realtek usb hub that I don't want).
Perhaps PC needs a WU refresh ?
Thanks for your job

How does that work? There is a bug actually with the damn Realtek USB FE Family Controller drivers. It will render a Realtek USB Gbit Family Controller unable to work, and even will create a feedback loop in the windows kernel, crashing the entire system making it slower and slower until you remove the USB dongle. I sent an email to Realtek about this and they had no interest in looking into it.
It's not a USB ethernet. It's an integrated hub into my Dell Ultrasharp with 4 USB 3.0 ports.
I'd rather keep generic driver which runs well. The WU Realtek dedicated driver gives me nothing more but an ugly icon for any removable drive connected to Dell monitor.
After a WU daily refresh, there is no driver update proposed. Problem is solved
Version 1909, something is wrong.
I used O&O Shutup10 to specifically disable driver updates through WU (plus I had the usual regtweaks too), and what happened after I plugged the network cable in? ****ing thing downloaded three years old GPU driver.
What the ****!
