Thanks for the data, I think I will keep it though at least thru the preview.

Seems to me if Onedrive is integrated it would be listed in windows features turn on or off.
@ ThrashZone, I did see it there, and there Was an option to Disable it, which I did! click that option to do so. Later I then decided I wanted to remove it completely, and that's when I ran the bat.
(EDIT a day later - I should have said I saw a disable option in TaskManager> Startup, and not in Features)

@ Shawn, yes I realize even when I update it there's a good chance maybe it will re-install itself, or even SFC and whatever else, no problem since the one click bat to run is pretty quick and easy; and so if I ever see OneDrive aboard again, I will re-run the bat. I'm curious to see how it holds, especially on the RTM, but here too if they make it to persist, I'm sure a way will be developed to remove it since many people just don't want anything to do with any Cloud type service.

    Thank you.

Are you sure? I double checked, but I don't see OneDrive listed in Windows Features in build 10041.

Yes I am sure, however I don't remember on what specific screen location or pane that it gave me that option though if that helps, but it was there, somewhere!

I don't see it afterwards because the program is un-installed now, but yes it was there and at first I was happy they gave me the option to disable it and I did, but then decided I just wanted it gone. Maybe if needed I could fire up my test bench and reinstall to find where it was for you; boy now you have me questioning myself but my memory from a few days ago is definitely that I Know I Saw The Option And I Did Click To Disable it!

I'm going to go over to find it, unless you find it first..

You could uninstall OneDrive in build 9879 through add/remove programs but not since then. Perhaps you were thinking of that... How to Uninstall OneDrive completely in Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

    Shawn,

Okay I reinstalled it on my test bench so as not to disturb my main setup and to start off fresh like I did before, and so pretty quickly I found where I saw that Disable option.
It was not in the Programs & Features no, but remembering what my flow was it was when I went to Task Manager to stop a particular driver from auto installing I had seen it in within the Start Up options to disable it and is where I had done it, here's screenshot I just made doing it again on build 10041

Anyway, I don't want to do it that way with Disabled and never paid attention to what that really did, but the other day instead found out how to ''Uninstall'' it as mentioned using the bat I posted in post #3

I used the bat that you posted endeaver and shawn's method and it is now gone. When I only ran you bat file it left it in the navigator bar. When it goes final I will keep it. It is already available to download at one of the favorite places.

Ah, ok. That's for the OneDrive system icon responsible for keeping OneDrive synced.

..and that particular startup listing from my screenshot above is not there, gone, after the post 3# bat is run and OneDrive is uninstalled. I tracked all the file/registry changes it makes with the bat uninstall, and it does uninstall it; again though if an update or whatever reinstalls it, it takes seconds to uninstall it again.
I'll keep an eye on it out of curiosity anyway.

@ Gary, yes it's true it will stay in the navigation pane, and that you can remove with the tutorials reg info; I left mine there though since I don't mind that listing as long as OneDrive itself is uninstalled.
