Well, as a test, if you create a new account on the PC, does the People app work properly while signed in to that account?

Do you have contacts all synced with Mail, Calendar and People through various accounts?
I did have, and do have on all other computers. Even on my test computers People works without problems. As I indicated to Brink, when I first got this new computer, People opened as usual but would not populate, so I did a reset on this in app list. From that point, People reset took the program into a state of not staying open.
Brink - I upgraded to Windows Creators version via download assistant. Then I created a ISO disc from windows download to try to deal with my People missing problem. The disc from Windows for this issue does not contain an WIM file. I ran DISM, found errors that are correctable according to the program. However, using the DISM syntax used before doesn't work. Before I ran DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth /source:WIM:E: \Sources \Install.wim:1 /LimitAccess
Since there is no Install.wim it doesn't work. Do you know any way to run DISM using this disc downloaded from Microsoft to correct my errors? OR can I use the previous disc from Windows Anniversary Edition?
PS - sfc /scannow found nothing.
Hey @magilla, :)
The options in the yellow tip box at the top of the tutorial below may be able to help.

I did have an INSTALL.ESD file on my computer. I tried to create an iso from it --- didn't work and in fact made it impossible to remove the ISOCREATOR folder from computer. The install.esd could not be recognized by DISM as a valid source either. HOWEVER, in order to deal with the ISOCREATOR that would not be removed, I restored my Macrium backup which I made just before I started this round. Upon restoring the backup, I checked the People program again, wouldn't stay open, went to the Windows settings Apps, clicked on 'reset' button. When I opened People again, it was fully populated and working!!! Well, I know I still have a problem based on DISM, but it will stay a problem for a while. Thanks again for all your suggestions and time reviewing my posts.
I have Windows 10 Pro x64 Insider Preview Build 18329.19h1 and tried Shawn's suggestion in post 1 here.
initially when I opened Apps & features Feedback Hub wasn't showing.
But after scrolling down to the bottom of that lits then back up to the top there was Apps & features at the top of that last with a blue icon but no symbol in it.
I clicked on it and chose Reset. It did "something" and the App had completely vanished!!
I believe that i am running the very latest Insider Preview version which was only installed a couple of days ago.
Obviously I would like to give some feedback but I can't with no Feedback Hub.
Any ideas? Anyone?
Thanks.
Hello Mark,
If you haven't already, you might see if you may be able to reinstall the "Feedback Hub" app via the Microsoft Store.
