Fix You've been signed in with a temporary profile in Windows 10  

My Window Defender isn't there anymore for some reason.
Any other recommended apps for the full scan? Thanks.

Microsoft helped me reinstall windows 10 but it is still creating temp profiles.
Computer is running smoothier though.

They had to delete a folder called windows.bts before the install could work.
There was some corrupted files.

This is a great tutorial for the problem of being logged in to a Temp profile instead of a user's original profile.
Except after trying it 3 times (and multiple other methods) I still cannot logon to my original Administrator profile, and am getting the Temp profile error messages exactly as you have them in your initial steps. I'm almost ready for a complete re-install of Windows. The Restore function would not complete, and there were no historical data points to revert back to almost a month ago since this randomly occurred.
Any other ideas here? Many thanks.

Only aberation I could find was last 4 digits of my User profile being 1002 vs. 1001 in regedit path.
