You might see if you may be able to take a screenshot using any of the other options in the tutorial below.

You shouldn't need to unhide the %UserProfile% folder in the "Users" folder in File Explorer.

My PrtScr button was misaligned and I found out why the Snipping Tool wasn't saving:

If you haven't already, you might see if doing a system restore using a restore point dated before this happened.

I got the dreaded temporary profile error, decided not to bother troubleshoot and clean installed everything.

But it's only one out of sixty machines, so I guess just a very rare occurences.

Hello @Razu, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

How does it behave after changing the "State" value to "0"?

Hi there, I've been having the same issue since Monday and been looking for answer online since.
I've contact Windows support but the issue have not been resolved yet.
Computer have been really slow and non-responsive at times. Long load time on login screen.

I tried changing the profile image path and slate value suggested in this thread but it just keeps creating a temp profile.
It worked once but when I tried to access my file on the task bar, windows crashed and the screen turned black.
This message also appeared "C:\\Windows\system 32\config\systemprofile\desktop is not accessible.

I also tried system restore but that is unavailable. (No system restore point).

I have since deleted all the temp profile folders.

Hello theh000d, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

If you create a new account, does it work properly?

If so, then you could use that account instead, and copy any files you want from the old account.

    Hi Brink,

Thank you for the quick response.
The new account is slow and non-responsive at times as well.

Some of the file icons doesn't load properly and when I tried to open it, it says "class not registered".

If you haven't already, it would be recommended to run a full scan on your system to make sure it's clean.

If it checks out, then you might see if a repair install may be able to sort everything for you.
