That would be the cause. Are you able to rename the user profile folder back to what it was before?

Are you able to do so in Safe Mode using the same method as before?
If not, then you could try doing a system restore at boot using a restore point dated before you renamed this folder to hopefully undo it.
See you may be able to open a command prompt at boot after booting from a Windows 10 installation USB, and then use Option 3 below to boot into Safe More.
Boot into Safe Mode on Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials
I just tried my bootable usb drive and it didn't boot. My boot options won't list the usb drive.
On a 3rd restart, it boot to the usb drive and did enter into run bcdedit into the command prompt. I wasn't sure about the information there that I need there so I exited and continued to Windows. I logged in and I'm in the user account that I wanted to change the profile folder name for, I did this at commnd prompt with:AtCode:echo %username%the folder is listed, but I had to unhide it from the View menu.Code:This PC > Local Disk (C:) > Users
Incidentally, I can't save a screenshot with the Snipping tool nor can I use Prt Sc on the keyboard.
