Hello John, :)
You might double check using the tutorial below to see if it may be able to help with the Mail notifications.

Hello,
Let's say I want to remove far more apps then I want to keep. For instance, Photos, Calculator, Voice Recorder and Store. Is there a way to modify the Option 4 command to save those 3 additional or do I need to just use option 3?
Hello Codi, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)
It looks like you may need to use option 3 to be able to cherry pick the ones you want to uninstall.
From here: Nobody Knows What Windows 10's "App Connector" Is, and Microsoft Won't Explain It
App Connector seems to be related to MS Azure App Services like OneDrive and possibly Office 365 connectors like Connectors and API Apps Reference that might optionally need to take pictures or know what country you’re in as some services might have restrictions or optimizations by location for services they can provide.
Hello Codi, I posted a command syntax for that here: Apps - Reinstall and Re-register in Windows 8 and 10 - Page 4 - Windows 10 Forums
