Not stupid at all. You would still see remnants of the app scattered about. For example, a desktop app may still have a folder in the "Programs Files" folder.
OK cool, thanks. I'll download CCleaner just to have and then I will use the normal Windows way to uninstall apps.

    Hello Zefy,

You should be able to use an option in the tutorial below to uninstall OneDrive.

I tried the commands in Option 3 to remove OneNote and Skype but they are still on my hard drive as shown below. How do I remove them completely?

    Hello Steve,

If you already uninstalled the app for "all users" and "new users", you could try manually deleting the app's folder in "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps".

However, since these are built-in apps, their packages could get restored after a new build/version Windows Update.

One other thing I have found out is if you delete an app, it will leave garbage in the start menu like ms-resource:AppName and you can't get rid of it except by putting back the "exact" app you removed, reinstalling will not remove the garbage. You can test this by renaming an app like MicrosoftEdge.

You would definitely need to uninstall the app before trying to delete it's folder.
