Definitely true for both apps: the "-online" code worked fine, but then I got stuck with "-allusers" (and Current Account, at least for Windows Holographic)...

Hello Shawn, :)
Concerning the two stubborn apps of the previous posts, IMHO I would not bother that much at least about XboxgamecallableUI as it does not appear in the Start Menu nor in Settings or Windows Store.
Moreover, I have a few misgivings whether Mixed Reality aka Windows Holographic aka HolographicFirstRun can be removed at all (apart for new users), but then again if such is Microsoft's will (and it would seem so according to the red message), I expect there's not much we can do about it.
On the other hand, there are two apps that do appear unrequested in Windows Store | Downloads and Updates together with Xbox Game Speech Window, after a Clean Install and despite having first removed Xbox: Xbox Game Bar and Xbox Identity Provider.
May I suggest to add the instructions to uninstall both of them to the Tutorial.
Xbox Game Bar
Get-appxpackage -allusers *XboxGameOverlay* | Remove-AppxPackage
Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like "*XboxGameOverlay*"} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
Xbox Identity Provider
Get-appxpackage -allusers *XboxIdentityProvider* | Remove-AppxPackage
Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like "*XboxIdentityProvider*"} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
Medal! Medal!! Medal!!!

hi brink...hi everyone...first post :)
after having absolutely no issues removing built-in apps in 1511 and 1607, i am having a pretty terrible time trying to do it in 1703. rather than doing it "-online" like your tutorial, i am mounting the iso and calling "-Path C:\mount". my command looks like this:
Code:Get-AppxProvisionedPackage -Path C:\mount | where-object {$_.packagename –like "*Microsoft.3DBuilder*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -Path C:\mount
however, i am getting an error indicating The handle is invalid
any idea what may be going on here?
Hello CreParPri, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)
You might see if one of the methods below for a mounted offline image may help.
Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage
Add or Remove Packages Offline Using DISM
Will using option 1 fully uninstall drivers as in uninstall from progs. & feat.
Hey Paul, :)
Yep, you can uninstall it from Programs and Features or Device Manager if you like.
Driver - Uninstall in Windows
I've always used uninstall from P & F, so uninstall from the Apps does the same ?
From your link,
Is it possible that uninstall from Apps may not remove all instance of graphics drivers.
Just curious, as i see some people using the App method have probs with new driver installs..

Good morning
The command
powershell "Get-AppxPackage -allusers | Remove-AppxPackage" > NUL 2>&1
But some icons are not deleted, I would like to delete them all from the start menu, how can I fix it?
Thank you
