    Note

The HomeGroup (view) and HomeGroup (view and edit) options still appear in Windows 10 (Version 1803 or later) when you right-click a folder in File Explorer and then point to Give access to.However, neither option does anything. To share a file or folder, select Specific people from the same shortcut menu instead.
Well, I guess that's reassuring... sort of. Hmm.

any way to remove this from the context menu but still have it present in the properties tab? I'd like to still be able to work with shares, but not have it in the context menu ;p

    Currently, it's all or none.

yuck. Oh well, to be fair that doesnt happen in too many cases. This is the 2nd i've ran across. First is removing Copy as Path from the extended context menu. I use the Copy Path with icon from this site, which makes that redundant. Seems its baked in though.

unfortunately I use network shares so having the ability to access it has to take precedence over my ocd compelling me to have a clean concise context menu :P

    thanks!

What does checking/unchecking the Use Sharing wizard do? I've tried both and in both cases the Share tab looks identical.

    Hello,

If Use Sharing wizard is not turned on (checked), you may not have all sharing options available.
