I don't use any AV or firewall from 3d party, it could be due to the recent install (with Windows 10 2004) of the new Edge that update itself and needs that setting or because I use Windows Defender?

Has Microsoft corrected this anomaly in updates for "other" Microsoft products in Windows 10 Version 2004? Each time that I set updates to NOT download updates for "other" Microsoft products, it simply switches it right back ON again. I am frustrated! What is the point of offering this option if your choice isn't going to be accepted and implemented?
Hi, Brink.
I had checked or unchecked this advanced setting of Windows Update many times.
But, I didn't feel the difference between them.
When I clicked to search new update and then I still got the same quantity of updates.
Was this bug of the advanced setting?
