    Thanks
    Hey mate,

Unfortunately, this policy only works on the Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Education editions now.

It wouldn't have any effect on Settings.

You might see if re-registering Settings using the command from option 2 below may help.

I used group policy (Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Store > Turn off the Store application) and enabled it which worked. Went back and tried both disabling and not configured and could not get Store to run.

I tried to re-register and reinstall and the both say "Windows cannot install package Microsoft.WindowsStore_12104.1001.1.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe because the package
is currently paused. The package must be Staged in order to proceed."; how do I stage it when it is currently grayed out with no access to uninstall?

I have tried to terminate and when I reset it, it disappeared out of Apps and Features but reappeared with a restart of PC. It showed normal in the start menu, but when I clicked on it, it got a white line under it and greyed out again.

Downloaded the registry files but the store is still active with ""RemoveWindowsStore"=dword:00000001" set.

    Hello,

You could try doing a repair install of Windows 10 to see if it may fix the Microsoft Store app without losing anything.
