Create Recovery Drive in Windows 10

I read something on some websites that I dont need to input my window 10 key again even i do a clean install.
Because there is something called "digital entitlement" that registered my window 10 with my motherboard.
So basically my motherboard are linked with that key when i upgraded window 8.1 to window 10.

I created a recovery drive (USB) and a DVD. The process went exactly as shown in the tutorial.

After creation, I attempted to test the Recovery drives for obvious reasons. but I can't boot to them.

My computer looks to the DVD first by default and does not acknowledge the boot info on the drive. It merely loads Windows 10 normally. I've tried both the DVD and USB Drive it's like the data on discs is not what it wants to see. Both discs went through the
creations process fine, the sequence ended with "disc created, OK".

Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.

I checked in the "fast boot" option. I do not have that enabled. This is not a boot issue. I can put my
W10 install disc in the drive, and it's recognized immediately. This issue is about the data on the disc and USB. It's somehow not
readable. I read a blurb somewhere is passing about that when W10 creates a recovery drive or disc, it doesn't use a "close the
disc" command. I went back and tried to fine that reference again, but no luck. Still perplexed???

Thanks for getting back so quickly, and especially for the welcome here on Ten Forums... off subject, but did you note the change of locale? Been here 20 odd months now...
Back to task at hand - I have run SFC four times and no integrity violations found. Then also ran full gambit of DISM - again no joy for either method to create recovery media.
Will now follow your suggested path above, and let you know outcome.
