Thanks for welcoming me, thanks for helping me.
Clean install vs USB recovery, is it correct???
    1. clean install require me to enter product key while usb recovery do not.
    2. both Clean install and usb recovery can works on new harddisk
    3. clean install works on brand new computer, while USB recovery only works on computer that are already working because when I do recovery, the PC will ask microsoft server:"This set of hardware(motherboard, display card, cpu) already registered with a valid key", so one usb drive will be enough for recovering two different PC

Sorry for wasting you guys' time, but I am still confused with the terms.

    No problem.

Recovery drive - You can reset or refresh Windows 10, and use WinRE options.

USB installation media - You can clean install, reset, or refresh Windows 10, and use WinRE options.

You do not enter a product key when you refresh or reset Windows.

    Reset Windows 10

    Refresh Windows 10

You do need to enter a product key when you clean install Windows 10 unless your PC has a digital entitlement registered on Microsoft's activation server, or you have an OEM PC with the product key embedded in the UEFI firmware chip on the motherboard.

You'll have to clean install to the new hard drive unless you had created a system image that you could restore to the new hard drive instead.

A recovery drive will not work if you need to clean install.

seems like recovery usb drive is not that useful, because if my harddisk is dead, i cannot recovery my PC by using that drive.
The only scenario that I will use USB drive recover is that if my computer have some virus, i use it to recover my pc.

A recovery drive is good for repairing Windows, but yeah not to clean install. That's why I find it best to create USB installation media instead to cover all options.
