Dumb question so sorry for asking.
My computer won't start. It's stuck in a "preparing automatic repair" and then constantly crashes and reboots. I can't get into safe mode and thought maybe if I create a Windows 10 recovery from someone else's computer onto a usb drive then I could try to load it on my computer to get it to work? Is that possible?

    Hello BRKING,

Yes, you could use the recovery drive for advanced startup (winre). For the best results, it'll need to be the same as the Windows you currently have installed.

thanks. So I just follow the steps on page 1, right? And doing this on another persons computer won't screw up their computer, right?

Correct, but leave the Back up system files to the recovery drive box unchecked since it's not for your PC.

    No problem.

You would just need to boot from the USB for advanced startup options.

Are you able to open the boot menu at boot to select the USB?

You might create a full blown Windows 10 installation USB to see if it may work better for you.
