Hello shadowthefire, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

Sometimes it may take 30 minutes or more to reset if there's corruption, but 2-3 hours is way too long.

If you still have hard drive activity and the progress percentage increases, then it may be best to let it work overnight while you're sleeping. Otherwise, you could do a clean install instead.

Hello mayasim, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

If you're unable to reset Windows at boot using OPTION ONE with a Windows 10 installation USB, then you should be able to do a clean install instead.

Option One on the first page can show you how to do a reset at boot.

You can click on the link I posted above for how to do a clean install.

Just sold a PC, now earlier in the day I tried to do a factory reset and I received a, " There was a problem resetting your pc, no changes were made" and only giving me a "Cancel" button which then brings me to a menu that lets me troubleshoot, shut down my PC, or boot up. When I trouble shoot it gives me the same options of letting me wipe everything and cleaning the drives, wipe but not clean the drives, etc., etc. Now I would like to get this to the seller as soon as possible, so how do I fix this???
