    Hi Shawn,
I'm a little confused with Keep my files:
    - Removes any apps your PC manufacturer installed. (If your PC came with Windows 10, apps from your PC manufacturer will be reinstalled.)
    It removes and reinstall?

    Hello Luiz,

Basically, the Keep My Files options is to do a refresh instead of reset of Windows 10. During a refresh, all apps are removed except those included with Windows 10. If it's an OEM PC, then apps packaged with the OEM recovery image (aka: factory recovery) would get restored. Think of all the bloatware software that comes preinstalled on OEM branded (ex: HP, ASUS, etc...) store bought computers.

    Thanks Shawn,
So, in a OEM computer it's basically a Factory restore keeping only the user data? Does it removes only Apps installed by the users or also programs?

Keeping user files and user accounts is kept no matter what with a refresh.

Only OEM apps get restored though.

I usually just do a clean install if that should happen.

Hi, just wondering if it could be stated in the Option table what happens to other partitions on the system disk in each case- I may have missed it in the tutorial, but did notice at least one question on this in the comments.

    See for example:
Help, reinstall windows 10 erased ALL of my partitions
(not clear what is meant by 'system recovery' though).

    Thanks!

    Hello mate,

I added a warning under step 7 option 1 AND step 10 option 2 to help make this more clear.

Thanks- maybe a warning note -say under the Option table- something like
'Depending on the option selected partitions you have created on the system disk may be erased'
so the risk is evident from the start?
