Since you want to keep the recovery partition, it would be best to Reset Windows 10 instead.

    Actually one more thing!

I went to the Recovery Setting: Reset this PC option and pressed get started inside Windows 10. Now, it is not giving me the option to avoid the created partition. Is this a problem or is there another way I need to do this to keep that recovery partition?

After # 5 When I chose Remove Everything. It does not show #6 and goes directly to #7.

Ah, ok. That's normal if you don't have any other drive letter than the Windows C: drive.

So, do I have to worry about it deleting the recovery D: partition?

Good Blessed Morning to you Brink. I ran into an issue last night, when I did the reset and did the fully clean option it got stuck at 42%. I had to abort. What would cause that and is there a fix? Also, should I still go with this method if no fix etc.?

Also, I have a 12 year old Secure Erase 3rd party DVD that I can't boot from on my UEFI HP Laptop any advice etc. you can give to be able to do that?

Another thing, here is what my drive/partition system looks like:

Size: 38.1 KB

In your opinion, will I be ok or will I have problems if I decided to stick to deleting the partitions instead of reset, if no fix, from my Windows 10 1803 flash drive? Or any method that removes all partitions. Do I truly need those partitions for any reason? These partitions were setup by HP and have certain files that they put on it. I would like to make sure I'm not messing things up if I go ahead and delete them.

    Thank you again!
