    Hello Balubeto,

Windows Reset would be like doing a clean install of the current build of Windows 10. Everything will be wiped and default afterwards.
So after a full reset, I should download all the Windows and apps updates that I had already downloaded. Right?

    Thanks

    Bye

The Windows updates should still be installed.

It looks like "Reset This PC" option is missing from Recovery Environment of Windows 10 Fall Creator Update, can someone please confirm if this is true or not. Thank you!

I have 'Reset this PC' in Settings > Update & Security > Recovery on both my machines, one Home the other Pro. 16299.371.

@FreeBooter, I have noticed that only administrators see this option. It's missing for a standard user, not just greyed out as you might expect.

@Bree, "Reset Your PC" option missing in Windows Recovery Environment, this option looks like only available from Settings app and from Windows Recovery Environment that is installed on the hard disk but not the Windows 10 Installation DVD.

    Thanks @Bree!

Confirmed @FreeBooter. I have 'Reset this PC' in Settings and the Advanced Start up from the PC's own Recovery Environment, but not if I boot from the 1709 install media (a usb made by the MCT in my case).

Thank you @Bree, i have no idea why Microsoft removed this option from Windows 10 Installation DVD whatever the reason i bet it is stupid Microsoft not thinking clearly what happens when computer cannot boot from Windows Recovery Environment that is installed on the hard disk. In my case this is what happened i had to repair BCD store to make computer boot into Windows Recovery Environment installed on the hard disk.

Checking my collection of install USBs, the last one to have the 'Reset this PC' option was 1511. Clicking Troubleshoot took you to a screen like this...

Since 1607 that screen doesn't exist, instead clicking Troubleshoot goes straight to the Advanced options screen.
