    Hello,
Is it possible to call the first powershell command from BAT file?
    Code:
    get-winevent -FilterHashTable @{logname="Application"; id="1001"}| ?{$_.providername -match "wininit"} | fl timecreated, message
    I am trying but i have issue probably from char { or }
    Code:
    PowerShell.exe -nologo -noprofile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Command "& {get-winevent -FilterHashTable @{logname="Application"; id="1001"} | ?{$_.providername -match "wininit"} | fl timecreated, message | Out-File '.\user-info.txt' -Append }"

Where Are Explainers for "Orphan files"?

    My Operating System is ...
    Edition: Windows 10 Pro
    Version: 20H2
    Installed on: 2/11/2021
    OS build: 19042.804
Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

My click-path to CHKDSK is ...
This PC > Local Disk (C:) Properties > Tools > Error checking > Check > Scan drive

This results in the attached CHKDSK72.zip file.

My specific question concerns the following section ...
Phase duration (Orphan reconnection): 2.03 seconds.
Phase duration (Orphan recovery to lost and found): 10.55 milliseconds.
    53317 reparse records processed.

I have failed to find an explanation of "Orphan recovery" and "lost and found". Could someone please give me a pointer to a website which explains all this? To my uneducated eye it looks like W10 or my 4TB hard drive is failing to keep track of fragmented files. But maybe this is not the case.

Thank you so much, Brink, and everyone who contributed answers. This particular tutorial is another chestnut to tuck away for a rainy day.
I visit this forum (and Seven forum previously) often but don't ask many questions because it's not necessary. The answers are already posted 99% of the time. But niether do I stop to say thank you as I should. This is the best related forum on the web with appeal to the vast number of users like me who are somewhat advanced, though not all true techies. Yet we are willing to provide the time and effort to research and learn but go stone crazy after two hours weeding through the same irrelevant nonsense repeated from forum to forum, or sift through 999 same-issue questions posted over a span of five years only to find at the end no answer was ever provided.

Ten Forums is like an oasis. It's chock full of relevant, straightforward answers deduced by logical minds, a few of whom, like Bink, exert great effort to stay up-to-date and relate information before we even know that we need it. And when there is a doubt or discrepancy, the team works through the issue as a team should. Not to outdo each other, but to find the right answer in the best interest of all. So, if you happen to see me lurking but not posting, please know that I read each word with satisfaction and humble gratitude. Thank you!
