    Hi Shawn,

After the upgrade I did a fresh install of Windows 10. Since I wanted to get rid of any old saved settings I first deactivated the Sync Settings option. Then I deleted the Sync profiles via the Onedrive site. I did this with the assumption that after I enabled the Sync Settings again (on the newly installed pc) it would start syncing again and create another profile on the Onedrive.

It had been almost two days now and I still only see the profile of my Windows Phone (which I did not delete :)).

Is there a lagging in the syncing of your settings to Onedrive? Or is there any way I can do a FORCE sync?

    Hope to hear from you.

    Hello Rover,

If you haven't already, check with the tutorial below to see if that can get your PC added back to OneDrive. :)

    Hi Shawn,

Adding the PC back to OneDrive did work. I can get access to my pc through OneDrive.

Last friday I also deleted all my synched files from OneDrive. Just to be sure and make a clean start. I used this link (https://onedrive.live.com/win8personalsettingsprivacy/). Before I did that I disabled all sync settings through the registry as you wrote in the tutorial. I did this on all my devices. I also disabled the connection with OneDrive for that period of time.

I waited until now before enabling the connection with OneDrive and the sync settings in the registry. I noticed that a process "SettingSynchHost.exe" used some upload and download time after that. Almost 750 KB up and 750 KB down. That's all.

But.....when looking in OneDrive at the part where you should be able to see the backupped devices......I only see my Windows Phone and not my pc.

What am I doing wrong here? Is my patience to low? Can it take some time before OneDrive is showing the device?

    Help.....

    Hello Rover,

If you haven't already, make sure that you PC is added as a trusted device.

It can take a while before your PC shows back up listed as a device on OneDrive. Give it a few days to see if it returns by :)

No sync folders in onedrive.com options/devicebackup.
I have 2 PC's both logged in with the same MS account.
Both have the account sync settings ON
I don't have the backup folders like on the first page of this thread!? Just a message "No devices have settings backup to Onedrive"
    What am I missing?

Sometimes it may take a few days for a new PC to show up.

I have both PC's signed in to the same MS account.
Both PC's have all sync settings on!
When I e.g change the theme on one of the PC's it gets changed on the other PC too!
So sync is working, but no sync folders in onedrive.com options/devicebackup.
Just trying to understand the mechanism!

    peerv,

I'm not sure why it's not listed on your OneDrive yet. Especially since it's syncing now for you.

If you look in the "Files" folder in your online OneDrive, do you have a folder with your Microsoft account's display name on it with a folder for your computer name inside it?
